Long Short

The inclusion of a short process in our investment strategy facilitates our ability to continue investing across a range of market environments.

SUCCESSFUL INVESTING IS FIRST ABOUT NOT GOING BROKE.

It’s an iterative process with vast amounts of uncertainty the key to maximizing wealth is to ensure that you don’t lose the ability to continue investing. The inclusion of a short process in our investment strategy facilitates our ability to continue investing across a range of market environments.

Because of well entrenched barriers in the broader market there is limited capacity for large scale adoption of short processes. This creates an abundance of interesting alpha opportunities for those that are able to run a short book.

Our short factors are distinct from our longs (we don’t just flip the longs) so the shorts serve as an uncorrelated return source for us.
